Emeishan birdwaching Infomation

Regarded as one of the four most famous holy mountains in China, Emei Shan will probably remain undisturbed for centuries to come. The elevation changes from about 700m up to 3079m.  Because of this, there are about 300 species of birds. Large amounts of endemic, near-endemic as well as widespread birds. There is a wonderful trail going from the foot of the mountain (Bao Guo Monerstary) all the way up (through Hongchunping, Xianfeng Monerstary, Wanniansi Monerstary, Xixiangchi Monerstery) to the Golden Summit. Which is probably one of China's best birding trail!
